Sexy creatures with sexy beats! D.I.E. (Digital Intelligence Extreme) is a collaboration of Simone Margoles & Davide Paterno who have worked together on music projects since 1996. Inspired by phat beats, high-tech gear, transformation and unity of our culture, D.I.E. possesses a similar sound and structure to live dance bands like: Thrill Kill Kult, NIN, Chemical Brothers, Front 242, VNV Nation, Ministry, and Dead or Alive.
The duo has played for large events like ILM, Lucas Film parties, Sega, SF Transgender March, LA and SF Pride 2008 and various other California venues including Dragon Fly, Opium Den, The Gig (LA), DNA Lounge, Red Devil Lounge, El Rio (SF), The Box (Santa Cruz), and many other crazy parties! Former band names include Metallic Pus, Tekrah, and Androgenous Androids as well as many side projects like Debauchery (live Dyke sex theatre) and numerous DJ gigs.
D.I.E. Live has two additional musicians, Trashina Cann, an amazing sexy creature and groove specialist, performing back-up vocals and keyboards, and Adrian, our guitarist, who plays hard and knows how to work the audience (and he’s got the cock rock thang down)!
